Strange Dreams
So last night I had the weirdest dreams. The first one, Mr. Savel and I were sitting in the middle of an aisle at Busch's (actually sitting) talking about a reading class. He was the teacher of this reading class, and I was taking it. He told me I had to read a book a day and take a test on each book I read, so I decided to skip 6th hour band to go to the registrar and drop the class. This dream went on for awhile, we were talking in Busch's for quite some time, then Bethany Bondy came into the store and Mr. Savel told me that the only reason he was a teacher was because of her. Oh yeah, I was also in charge of making sure the rugs by the doors were straight after school. I don't know where that came from.... Maybe I shouldn't have spaghetti anymore??
The second weird dream of the evening came when I was the left fielder for the New York Yankees. I was actually playing in the outfield with The Green Monster, Fenway Park with Derek (Jeter, but we are on a first name basis). I got a really good hit, I stole third base, I made a great catch in the outfield, and I threw someone out at the plate. If only dreams could come true, this would be at the top of that list. I was so nervous in my debut as a Yankee though, I went into the wrong dugout and didn't realize it for awhile. Matt Pitock was also on the team. We didn't know where we were in the lineup so we had to wait for the announcer to say our names because we were scared of Joe Torre. We beat The Red Sox, so we celebrated after the game! There were other women on the team as well, no one expected us to win, but we did!! This is when my alarm went off so I don't know what happened next.
Today, as I was sitting at my desk doing crossword puzzles online, all the crossword puzzles had baseball clues in them, one answer was the YANKEES, maybe this is an omen, I think I need to quit my job and try out for the Yankees, Spring Training is just around the corner. Do you think I'll look good in pinstripes? I think I better start getting in shape, I can't even walk of four flights of stairs to my office without sweating and shortness of breath! You may want my autograph now, soon I'll be famous!
